Just talking about Minecraft Mods:

There're lots of Minecraft Mods. Probably one of the most modded games. Which means there're tons of lists and videos about them. And still, I can't find a single thing I want.

The problem I found while looking for mods is that most pages that come up are clickbait pages with the same three popular mods that add too much. And YouTube is full of shorts that don't specify what loader or version they use, so you can never find the mods in the version you are playing.

You will always find more mods in older versions. I started playing this year on 1.20. It has many mods and the backports are decent. I liked it a lot, and most mods I use now in 1.21 are the same I used in 1.20.

I will be talking about mods for 1.21 Fabric just to be clear.

And since I love lists (I LOVE LISTS) I will be making one for all the mods I use.

Also, I get most of my mods from Modrinth, so there's no confusion about that. I really like that page, and it lets you filter very nicely by loader, version and many more. Completely recommend.

Another fucking disclaimer. Personally I like to make my experince easier. I play on easy and I use mods for fun and to make my game less of a grinding experience. I do have some extra stuff, but most are just quality of life things.

    Mods

  • Serilium Mods not a single mod, but a creator with plenty of interest things. Mostly they are QOL vanilla things. Some make the game easier if you're into that.
  • Fuzs Mods also a creator with many mods. Many QOL things, but also building and aesthetic things. From tweeks to work tables to diagonal fences. Just a lot of fun things.
  • Farmer's Delight The Classic. Food, stoves, tools and crops. It's awesome and it has a ton of addons for more crops, more storage and more foods. Simple and fun. I also have the Storage Delight addon that gets you a lot of furniture that you can use to store things in.
  • Glowing Eyes exactly what it says. Gives you glowing eyes. No extra anything. Adds glowing to your face that you can customize with a new command. I really like having it.
  • Trinkets a base for extra slots in your inventory. With it you can add Cosmetic Armor, that lets you have a layer of armor extra just to look cute while having a better enchanted strong armor underneath. It also has addons for backpacks, totems and many more. A necessity if you want aesthetics and convenience.
  • Additional Placements I've seen plenty of mods that add vertical slabs and other stuff, but I never heard anyone mention this one. The mod lets you get blocks in more precise positions, vertical slabs and stairs and better control of corners. Its really useful.
  • Boids make fish swim together and with better movement. Just ambient things, makes it feel a little more realistic.
  • Colorful Azaleas brings more variety to Azaleas. The two originals stay the same, but you can get more variants from them. Many new woods and decorative objects. Just nice to have.
  • Peasy Mode makes easy difficulty in survival have mobs that don't attack you. Play with hunger and health risks without worrying for the zombies and creepers chasing you. Everything else is normal, don't let your zombies near your trading hall.
  • Stack to Nearby Chest easier to get items from and on chests.
  • Stacks are Stacks just makes stacks normal. No more 16 eggs or snowballs, only 64.
  • Strong Leads stop breaking them if you go too far or too fast. Now they'll stay until you untie them.
  • Ucrafting Recipes get your materials back.
  • Valhesia Furniture Furniture mod. It has seats and lights. Not as extensive as others, but I like it.
  • Inproved Signs lets you click your storage through them.
  • Magnet Command adds a couple of commands to make picking up items easier.
  • Bridging Mod another classic. QOL building and bridging mod. Just makes it easier to place blocks so you don't have to sneak at the edge all the time.
  • Terracotta Shingles adds shingles. A good one for building if you don't want anything extra.
  • From The Fog adds a silly cat to your worlds. Joking. Adds Herobrine, you can customize how much he appears and interacts. You can also add your own skins to him! I just like having him around.
  • Non specific addition I like a right click harvest mod, there's plenty of them to choose. And mods that make uncraftable things like saddles and name tags craftable. You can pick and the one that makes you happy.
  • Resource and Data Packs

  • Vanilla Tweaks of course. The page has a pick and choose thing. You can just see what you like, from textures to sounds to plenty more. It also has data packs you can get that give you different things, like cauldron mud and mob heads. Go and take a look at what you like.
  • OneBlockNot indispensable or anything. I just like it. Very fun to play and to build.

There. You get whatever thing makes your computer faster on your own. I don't know about that I just get what works.

I usually get something that controls particles because I can't handle them all sometimes. Just, have fun. Make your life easier if you want.
